Bob Gourley Jr. has practiced Bankruptcy law for over 20 years, including a clerkship with Bankruptcy Judge Rich Leonard. As an undergraduate, he attended the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill as a Morehead Scholar and graduated With Distinction. He then earned his law degree at Chapel Hill. He has served for over 6 years on the Bankruptcy Council of the NC Bar Association, taught numerous Bankruptcy courses to other attorneys and authored numerous articles on Bankruptcy law. Most recently, he was the Chair of the North Carolina Bar Association Bankruptcy Section.
